Aachen, Germany

While you were celebrating Thanksgiving, I was celebrating Christmas.

Cologne is pretty average during the day, but the Christmas Markets at night are stunning. Some friends and I made our way to 5 markets last night and enjoyed eating the traditional German foods.

This morning I woke up and took a day trip to Aachen.  It’s a little city on the border of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Tonight I plan another escapade to the markets.
